资源简介:
Biomass and abundance of foliage arthropods and leaf phenology across an elevation and rainfall gradient in the Peruvian Andes. Arthropod data was collected using foliage branch-beating across eight landscapes (116 visits) from 1700-3100 m, 2015-2019. Desiccation resistance experiments for 477 arthropods, 2017-2019. In situ leaf phenology of understory shrubs and canopy trees was scored in the field and documented using repeat canopy photographs. The enhanced vegetation index (EVI) from the MODIS Terra satellite was calculated within a 5-km radius filtered for >50% forest cover within a 300-m elevation band. In situ weather data (precipitation, vapor pressure deficit, temperature, cloud cover) summarized from https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.18543167 and modeled according to https://rmets.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/joc.7567.
