Share of Gen Z who would like to pursue various pathways in the future U.S 2023

According to a survey conducted in 2023, 48 percent of Gen Z in the United States said that they would like to work at a paid job in the future while 44 percent said that they would like to take time off to travel or pursue other interests. A further 34 percent said they would like to get a graduate degree in the future.
