Global price change of selected commodity minerals due to COVID-19 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic drove a global drop in prices for several commodity minerals. Between March and April 2020, the average price of copper decreased from 2.5612 U.S. dollars per pound to 2.1917 U.S. dollars per pound. This represented a drop of around 14 percent in the global price of copper during that timeframe.
