The OECD launched a peer review and regional dialogue on shipbuilding industries in Southeast Asian economies at an event hosted by the Government of Japan on 8 April 2026. The one‑year initiative, supported by the Government of Japan, aims to strengthen co-operation, competitiveness and economic security in Southeast Asia’s shipbuilding sector.
