Secretory activity of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells

Our research studied the effect of topographical cues of the culture substrate on the secretome of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Conditioned media and lysate samples of human bone marrow-derived mesenchynal stem cells cultured on the topographical substrates were sent to Raybiotech Inc. Services for protein detection. They performed a Quantibody® Multiplex ELISA of 200 human proteins. These results were used to further perform a differential statistical analysis on the expression of the quantified proteins using R statistical software. Differential protein expression and gene ontology analyses identified bio processes associated with immune regulation.
