Data from North-East Greenland shelf marine sediment core DA17-NG-ST14-171G; Changes in organic sequestration in oceanic sediments from East Greenland during changing conditions

This dataset supports the manuscript Changes in organic carbon sequestration in oceanic sediments from East Greenland during changing conditions. It includes supplementary data from gravity core DA17-NG-ST14-171G, collected from the Northeast Greenland shelf offshore the Young Sound–Tyrolerfjord system. The files contain biomarker, bulk geochemical, stable isotope, CT-derived density, organic carbon flux and organic carbon sequestration data used to reconstruct Holocene changes in sea-ice conditions, marine productivity, organic matter source and preservation, sedimentation, and OC flux/sequestration. Organic carbon sequestration estimates are based on pyrolysis-defined fresh organic matter. Units and age information are provided within each spreadsheet.
