Data for understanding trust in varied information sources, use of news media, and perception of misinformation regarding COVID-19 in Pakistan

The current data from 537 Pakistanis tells us about their trust in different information sources,
use of news media, and perception of misinformation regarding COVID-19 in Pakistan. The
dataset includes variables such as age, marital status, gender, social class, residential area, trust
in source of information, use of news media for coronavirus information, and perception of
misinformation regarding COVID-19 in Pakistan. We used Qualtrics to collect data via an online
survey that was conducted between 24 April and 12 May 2020. This data will help future
research to understand national and international scholarship relating to COVID-19.
