The scientific and cultural debate around the topic of public history has highlighted the need to think about paths that can offer an adequate training support to the development of the main competences of the public historian. These skills will have to emerge from a specific debate on the methodology of historical research and from the good practices currently being implemented. It is a fairly shared fact that the question of what constitutes the practice of history and in particular of "public" history is a very open question. These pages are intended to offer an opportunity to reflect on these issues from a pedagogical and methodological perspective.
