Real-time quantitative PCR analysis of cortisol-indeced sex change in epinephelus coioides

Cortisol was injected into the protogynous epinephelus coioides to investigate the role of this hormone on sex change. Following injection, we evaluated sex-related gene expression during the processes of cortisol-induced sex change in epinephelus coioides. qPCR gene expression profiling. Gonadal tissues were collected from the fish in each group at 24 hours after cortisol treatment (hat), 96 hat, 7 days after treatment (dat), 15 dat, 30 dat and 60 dat for gene expression analysis.
