DELWP Annual Financial Statements

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994 and applicable Australian Accounting Standards including Interpretations (AASs), issued by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB). In particular, they are presented in a manner consistent with the requirements of AASB 1049 Whole of Government and General Government Sector Financial Reporting. They also comply with relevant Financial Reporting Directions and relevant Standing Directions issued by the Minister for Finance. The financial statements cover the Department as an individual reporting entity and include all the controlled activities of the Department. Controlled activities are disclosed in the comprehensive operating statement, balance sheet, statement of changes in equity and cashflow statement.
