Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a cultural resources survey of the Olde Mill Run Tract in Beaufort County, South Carolina. The project tract is located north of SC Route 46 near Pritchardville. Archaeological investigations involved systematic shovel testing of the 102 hectare tract. This work was done in compliance with state and federal regulations concerning the management of cultural resources affected through development activities in the Coastal Zone of
South Carolina. The cultural resources survey resulted in the identification of two archeological sites (38BU2141 and 38BU2142) and five isolated finds (Isolates 1-5). We recommend these resources not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. There are no extant buildings on the project
tract. No historic properties are recorded on or adjacent to the project tract. Development of the project tract will not affect any historic properties. Further management of the Olde Mill Run Tract with regard to cultural resources is not warranted.
