16S rRNA gene sequencing data of a synthetic gut community containing Roseburia intestinalis, Blautia hydrogenotrophica, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, Collinsella aerofaciens and Prevotella copri. Bacteria were grown in microbioreactors (as an emulated chemostat) for 67 hours. Samples were sequenced for T=12, 25, 37, 49, 61 and 67 hours. Three technical replicates were sequenced. The first technical replicate was prepared and sequenced separately from the other technical replicates. The second and third technical replicates were later processed together in the same plate during extraction, PCR and 16S rRNA sequencing run.
