Dataset of medium and large mammals recorded in the high-Andean zone of the Pampa Hermosa National Sanctuary and its buffer zone, Department of Junín, central Peru. The metadata contains the records of 11 native and three domestic species of medium and large mammals through cameras-trap and transects. In addition, the dataset contains geographic information from the sampling points used for the present survey, carried out between 2019 and 2020.
