Epidemiological characteristics and virulence analysis of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii carrying both blaOXA-51-like and blaOXA-23-like resistance genes in a tertiary hospital in Jiangsu Province

The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of carbapenem resistant A. baumannii infection by comparing with carbapenem sensitive A. baumannii (CSAB) patients, and understand the prevalence and transmission mechanism of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) in the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University in Jiangsu Province by studying the drug resistance genes of CRAB and conducting virulence analysis.
