To explore the cell-identity and driver genes related to dental mesenchymal cell differentiation during the late bell hard tissue formation stage, the first and second mandibular molars (M1 and M2) of rat at postnatal days 5 were dissected for enzymatic digestion and subjected to single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). We performed single-cell transcriptome of the first and second mandibular molars tooth germ of 5 days postnatal rat.
