NRS-20173 | Register of applications for exemption from military service, Werriwa Military District [Bowral Court of Petty Sessions]

This series consists of a single volume, registering the names of men in the Werriwa Military District who have applied for an exemption from serving in the military during World War I.The names are listed in application number order. The register records the application number, surname of the applicant, Christian name of the applicant, address, occupation, ground on which the exemption is claimed, decision of the local court, exemption (i.e. type of exemption - temporary, conditional), date of decision, if appeal lodged (yes / no). At the back of the register is an alphabetical index in which applicants' names are arranged by surname.Only three pages of the volume have been used. All decisions in the volume are dated 15 November 1916.
