The data originates from the OCO-2 satellite, which was launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for global atmospheric carbon dioxide monitoring and supports global daily revisit. To facilitate access for domestic users, this dataset is curated and maintained by the team of the National Earth Observation Scientific Data Center, where individual products are compressed and packaged into monthly datasets for data distribution and service provision.
