Soil fluxes and volume mixing ratios (VMR) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) measured at the ATTO Site in 2023 and 2024

This dataset provides measurements of soil volatile organic compound (VOC) fluxes and volume mixing ratios (VMR) measured at the ATTO Site in January 2023, October 2023, April-May 2024 and October 2024. The samples were collected using three manually operated soil chambers placed next to the ATTO Tall Tower. The measured VOCs are isoprene, oxidation products of isoprene, monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. Identified compounds have a CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service) number as unique identifier of the chemical substance. For some of the monoterpenes both enantiomers were detected. The flux is in nmol m-2 h-1 and the VMR is in pptv and an error from calibration uncertainties in the analytical method and the calculation is provided.
