A greenhouse pot experiment on CH4 emissions with methanotrophic consortia inoculation was conducted in rice paddy soil. Four treatments were applied: (1) Control (CK), (2) SRF consortium inoculation (SRF), (3) SST consortium inoculation (SST), (4) SCM consortium inoculation (SCM). Soil samples were collected in quadruplicate for each treatment at key rice growth stages: tillering (39 days after transplanting), heading (113 days), and maturity (134 days). Four DNA samples per treatment extracted from soil at three rice growth stages from the pot experiment were applied for Illumina MiSeq sequencing of 16S rRNA genes.
