RGB-based pixel indices derived from plot-scale smart-phone imagery at two Norwegian peatlands

This dataset contains the pixel-level RGB values, the indices calculated from those RGB values and the researcher-classified ground covers underlying the article "Low-cost plot-scale monitoring of green and red vegetation cover using smart-phone imagery" published in Ecological Indicators. Due to the large size (>1 TB) of the full dataset used for the seasonal vegetation dynamics plots in the article, we have only included the training data here. Please contact the data curator accessing the full dataset (carl.johannesson@nina.no). The data file (training_data.csv) is provided as a UTF-8 encoded CSV. The equations for calculating the RGB-based indices, inlcuding the abbreviations used in the csv-file column names, can be found in the Supplementary materials related to the main article.
