Liability insurance premiums issued in the Spanish market 2005-2023

The annual volume of liability insurance premiums issued in Spain fluctuated between 2005 and 2023. The second-highest volume of premiums issued was observed in 2007, and amounted to over two billion euros at the time. Liability insurance premium volume decreased significantly in the following years, reaching a low of around 1.34 billion euros in 2014. Since then, the annual volume of liability insurance premiums in Spain has steadily increased, peaking at 2.1 billion euros in 2023, the highest figure recorded during the period under observation.
