Host range and severity of major North American tree pests and pathogens

The data contains hosts and severity scores of 297 major North American tree pests and pathogens collected from literature. Host range was indexed by taxonomic richness (number of host genera), mean pairwise distance, and standard effect size of the mean pairwise distance.
