Caudoviricetes Structural Taxonomy

This dataset contains 445,098 predicted protein structures from 4,082 Caudoviricetes bacteriophage genomes, generated using ESMFold. The structures were clustered using Foldseek to identify shared structural folds, forming the basis of a whole-structurome taxonomic framework for higher-order viral classification. This dataset underpins the PhagePleats pipeline and can be used to explore structural conservation, fold-based relationships, and viral protein novelty across the Caudoviricetes clade. The uncompressed /pdb folder requires approximately 56GB of disk space.
