Canadian Beluga (Delphinapterus leucas) whole genome sequences

These sequences were used to investigated the underlying population structure of Canadian beluga stocks. They contain samples from seven out of eight designated stocks along the Canadian coast. These sequences were used to investigate the genetic population structure of these stocks. Additionally, they were used to conduct demographic history reconstruction for all the genetic populations. Additionally, they were used to conduct Genetic offset study to investigate mismatch between the current population genetics and future requirement under specific climate change scenarios.
