资源简介:
The Ivallda Arctic (Oeneis chryxus ivallda) is butterfly in the family Nymphalidae and is endemic to the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is generally restricted to high-altitude habitats, such as alpine meadows and scree slopes. Most populations exhibit a semivoltine life cycle, wherein larvae diapause for two consecutive winters and adults emerge only once every two years. Small population sizes and high habitat specificity make O. c. ivallda particularly sensitive to climate change and climate-induced habitat loss. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
