"Parcels will be offered in a Call for Bids from which licences will be issued to successful bidders. Each parcel is composed of sections of grid areas which are defined in the Canada Oil and Gas Regulations. In the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Area, the maximum allowable parcel size is 800 sections with the only exception being parcels within the Jeanne d’Arc region, which cannot exceed 400 sections."本次招标将出让多个勘探区块，中标投标人将据此获取对应区块的开采许可。每个勘探区块由若干网格单元组成，相关网格单元的定义均遵照《加拿大油气法规》（Canada Oil and Gas Regulations）。在加拿大-纽芬兰与拉布拉多近海区域内，单区块的最大允许规模为800个网格单元；唯一例外为让娜·达克（Jeanne d’Arc）区域内的区块，其规模不得超过400个网格单元。
