Physicochemical characterization of bicelle-derived floating lipid bilayers on gold electrodes
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains experimental results related to the formation and electrochemical characterization of a floating DMPC lipid bilayer formed by the spreading of bicelles onto a gold (Au(111)) surface modified with a β-thioglucose and 6-mercaptohexanoic acid monolayer. The dataset includes measurements from quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D), surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy (SEIRAS), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results demonstrate the formation of a compact, defect-free bilayer. The data also provide insights into voltage-dependent structural and mechanical changes within the bilayer. This dataset may be valuable for studies on biomimetic membranes and applications involving transmembrane protein incorporation or biosensing platforms.
