Phytophthora nicotianae is destructive to tobacco and highly pathogenic to Solanaceous crops. Here, the resistant and susceptible tobacco varieties, Beihart1000-1 (BH) and Xiaohuangjin (XHJ), respectively, were used to investigate resistant and susceptible genes via RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq). Samples were collected 6, 12, 24, and 60 h post inoculation (hpi), and differentially expressed genes (DEGs), enriched GO terms, and KEGG pathways were analyzed.
