Analysis of retinal cells in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice with endogenous uveitis

The mouse retina single-cell RNA sequencing data registered here were obtained from experiments designed to investigate the effects of diabetes on endogenous uveitis. Samples were collected from C57BL/6 wild-type mice (WT), C57BL/6 mice with experimentally induced autoimmune uveitis (WT-EAU), and C57BL/6 mice with streptozotocin-induced diabetes and subsequent EAU induction (STZ-EAU). At 21 days post-immunization, retinas from all mice (female, 11 weeks old) were dissociated into single cells using papain. Subsequently, rod cells were depleted from retinal cells using CD73 antibody and magnetic beads. As a result in this samples, the proportion of rod cells decreased, while the proportion of other retinal cells increased.
