MEX-M-OMEGA-5-DDR-GLOBAL-MAPS

This data set contains highlevel map products derived from observational data acquired by the Observatoire pour la Mineralogie, lEau, les Glaces et lActivite (OMEGA) imaging spectrometer on board the Mars Express (MEX) spacecraft. Meant to be evolutive, the first release of this data set contains 8 global maps of the surface albedo and minerals on Mars. They constitutes an unique atlas which enables to study locally the surface of Mars in a global context, to retrieve the processes and events that paved Mars evolution, to look back in time in Mars’ history and to identify regions of strong interest for future exploration. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
