Normalized Raman Imaging (NoRI) Kidney Dataset

This dataset contains quantitative Normalized Raman Imaging (NoRI) data and corresponding annotations used for the analysis of protein and lipid distribution in mouse kidney tissues. The dataset supports both biological and computational studies exploring kidney physiology, sexual dimorphism, and ischemia–reperfusion injury. NoRI enables label-free, absolute quantification of protein and lipid concentrations in intact tissues, while preserving architecture for advanced computational analysis (e.g., segmentation and deep learning). The accompanying computational pipeline integrates Segment Anything Model (SAM) and ilastik for automated segmentation, classification, and measurement of tissue substructures such as tubules, nuclei, lumens, and brush borders.
