This dataset includes 3D point clouds of apple trees recorded over three vegetation seasons in Potsdam, Germany, measured using light detection and ranging laser scanners at two wavelengths (660 nm, 905 nm), supplemented by RGB-D sensor data and satellite data. The dataset also contains reference analysis of manually scanned leaf area for entire trees.
