Data_CATENA journal

These data contain precipitation data extracted from CHIRPS (https://climateserv.servirglobal.net/) and potential evapotranspiration data downloaded from the CRU website (https://data.ceda.ac.uk/badc/cru/data/cru_ts ) for catchments of the Upper Blue Nile River Basin.
It also contains a shapefile of various catchments within the basin. The R code for preparing spatial and temporal plots for precipitation and potential evapotranspiration is included.
