We request to observe 3C 17 the first gamma-ray detected radio galaxy hosting anarrow-line Seyfert 1 nucleus jointly with XMM-Newton and NuSTAR for 100 ksecand 40 ksec respectively. The detection of the bent radio jet morphology andhot X-ray emitting ICM surrounding this enigmatic object makes it the toppriority target. We will estimate the physical properties of the jet by means ofnumerical SED modeling and will derive spectral parameters of the clustermedium e.g. temperature surrounding 3C 17 and look for sub-structures e.g.X-ray cavities in comparison with the detected radio structures.
