LC-MS data of trypanothione from Leishmania infantum samples : assay method assessment

Data of the results presented in the article "LC-MS Evaluation of the Redox Trypanothione Balance in Leishmania infantum Parasites", currently under review in the journal Antioxidants. LC-MS raw and processed data with calculation of the concentrations of the species of interest (oxidized trypanothione and NEM-derivatized reduced trypanothione) in Leishmania infantum biological samples. These data are being used to validate a method for measuring trypanothion and the balance between its reduced and oxidized forms in biological samples from parasites of the genus Leishmania. Parasites have been exposed with hydrogen peroxide and/or gold complex auranofin to induce oxidative stress.
