This study aimed to examine the microbiome changes in Spodoptera exigua larvae infected with Heliothis virescens ascovirus 3h (HvAV-3h). HvAV-3h is an ascovirus. Ascoviruses are insect viruses. The microbiome was studied in whole body and hemolymph tissue in uninfected and infected larvae.
