Genome sequencing and chloroplast genome assembly of Camellia hamyenensis

This project aims to generate genomic resources for Camellia hamyenensis, a yellow-flowered Camellia species endemic to northern Vietnam. Whole-genome Illumina sequencing was performed to assemble and characterize the complete chloroplast genome of the species. The resulting plastome sequence will support phylogenetic, taxonomic, and evolutionary studies within the genus Camellia.
