Whole genome sequencing of two thermophilic Campylobacter strains isolated from layer chicken feces in Gangneung, South Korea

The aim of this study was to characterize one Campylobacter jejuni and one Camplyobacter coli strains isolated from chicken feces obtained in a layer poultry farm in Gangneung, South Korea. There are no previous work on Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of Campylobacter jejuni and C. coli from layer chicken in Korea. The obtained data will help in surveillance studies and may guide further epidemiological studies
