资源简介:
As part of a collaborative study with the City of Raleigh, the U.S. Geological Survey developed this dataset to characterize streambank erosion and channel incision throughout Raleigh, North Carolina. This dataset includes 8 shapefiles that describe the study subbasins, drainage network buffer, channels, channel buffers, channel segments, channel segment buffers, in-field stream-walk locations, and patches of potential erosion. This dataset also includes 4 CSV files with tabulated results; zonal statistics were calculated for channel segment buffer areas, subbasin areas, stream-walk locations, and patches of erosion. The proximity of patches of erosion to critical infrastructure (i.e. sanitary sewers and residential land parcels) was also tabulated. Zonal statistics were calculated using digital elevation model of difference (DoD) and landscape positive openness (PO) rasters derived from lidar data collected in 2015 and 2022, revealing information on streambank erosion and degree of channel incision, respectively.
