Wyoming Well Permits

This data was created specifically for use in the Wyoming
Ground-water Vulnerability Mapping project, to generate
depth-to-intial ground water contours. This data should be
used with extreme caution based on the inaccuracies associated
with township-range locational descriptions as well as the problems
inherent in the State Engineer's Office database.

Contains just short of 80,000 point locations of Wyoming well permit
locations on file with the Wyoming State Engineer's Office. They
range in dates from the early 1900s to 1992, but are located only
to the nearest 40 acre parcel. All locational information and
attributes were imported from the Wyoming State Engineer's Office
Well Permits Database stored in Advanced Revelation software.
