Innovation package and scaling readiness of healthy diets innovations identified or being developed within the framework of the HealthyDiets4Africa project

The objective is to map the existing ready to scale food diversification innovations identified or documented from the other work packages. The sub tasks are: a. Mapping the existing ready to scale innovations, and b. Assessing the scaling readiness of those technologies, tools and option using the CGIAR scaling readiness guideline (Sartas et al., 2020). The healthy diet innovation data template and data description sheets were prepared and shared with all 20 consortium members. The data collection process started in early 2023 and is on-going. The data was entered by main contact person of each institution after consultation with institution colleagues and partners. The data sheet was returned to Sali Ndindeng who then held one-to-one interview sessions with the main contact person to review the data entered. This data will be shared with all consortium members for validation before publication. However, this data will be updated each year to get the current innovation readiness and innovation use levels.
