A Fire Report was regarded as an official record of the firefighting operations of VA 483 Metropolitan Fire Brigades Board. Compiled on a numbered P133 form the report provided a precis of the fire / incident including details of the date and time of fire, the notifier of the call, cause, locality, owner, appliances attended, occupier/business, nearest station, time occupied, water supply, insurance information, construction of walls and roof, description of the fire and damage. Additional comments included death and injury details, number of previous fires, men on watching duty, and monetary charges incurred.
