Online checklist of banana cultivars

This dataset contains the records that are included in the most recent version of the Online Checklist of Banana Cultivars: http://www.promusa.org/Banana+cultivar+checklist. The dataset is comprised of the following columns: \"itemId\", \"status\", \"created\", \"lastModif\" which are all metadata assocuiated with the upload of the dataset to the Online Checklist of Banana Cultivars on the ProMusa website (tiki-wiki based); \"ID -- 81\", the unique identification number of each entry; \"Page -- 98\", the link to the cultivar page on the Musapedia cultivar diversity portal (if a page for the cultivar exists); \"Local name -- 82\", the local name of the cultivar; \"Location -- 83\", the location (usually at the country level) where the local name is used; \"Reference -- 91\", the reference from which the information in the 'Local name' and 'Location' fields was sourced, with a link to the citation of the reference in MusaLit; \"Cultivar -- 84\", the most well-known name of the cultivar that the 'Local name' is referring to; \"Name status -- 85\", a hidden field intended to be used to denote the status of the agreement about the choice of name used as the 'Cultivar' name; \"Clone set - Cluster -- 86\", the occasionally used classification level between cultivar and subgroup; \"Subgroup -- 87\", the classification level used to denote a natural grouping of related cultivars; \"Group -- 95\", the classification level used to denote the genetic background of the subgroup, most frequently the ploidy level and the presumed proportion of contributions to the genome by the ancestral wild species M. acuminata and M. balbisiana (and other species) using the system developed by Simmonds and Shepherd (1955); \"Classification status -- 94\", a hidden field intended to be used to denote the status of the agreement about the classification of the 'Cultivar'; \"Notes -- 90\", related relevant information, most frequently the meaning of the local name, when put into English language; \"Language\", the language of the 'Local name'; \"Region\", the within-country level location of where the 'Local name' came from. The records contained in this dataset are pulled from published and unpublished literature and personal communications. The reference that the information came from is included in the column \"Reference -- 91\".
