Preparation and characterization of fluorinated alumina and its use for the transformation of of 2-chloropyridine under HF gas

Characterization results of partially fluorinated alumina by NMR, XRD, nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis. The acidity, textural properties (specific surface area, pore volume) have also been determined. Data related to the catalytic results concerning the transformation of 2-chloropyridine under HF gas using the partially fluorinated alumina as support are given.
