Brillouin backscattering spectra for synthetic and natural fibers

The dataset is composed of text files for the Brillouin light scattering spectra of some synthetic and natural fibers: E-glass fiber (amorphous, isotropic) PA11, synthetic fiber (transversely isotropic) silk, synthetic fiber (transversely isotropic) flax, natural fiber (transversely isotropic) The ZIP archive contains text files that contain the raw Brillouin spectra presented as two columns: 1/ frequency in GHz 2/ photon count. For each fiber, measurements for three scattering geometries are provided: Along axis Z, or long axis of the fiber Incidence plane (XZ), supposedly anisotropic Incidence plane (XY), supposedly isotropic
