Weevil coding sequences and proteomes

Re-annotation of publicly available weevil genomes for evolutionary analyses of parental care in weevils.All published curculionidae genomes on NCBI (January 2024) were quality checked using BUSCO and re-annotated using the FastTE pipeline if BUSCO genome completeness score >97%. Additionally, Apoderus coryli and Chrysoperla carnea were used as outgroup species.
