Two-Phase Shear Flow Instability in Rarefied Gas
收藏资源简介:
Two-phase flow experimental data obtained from the TEMPusVoLA facility during the 75th ESA Zero-gravity parabolic flight campaign. The experiment, designated 'System 3' contains low pressure gas and analogue dust particles that experience a shear with respect to one another. DATA Products: The pressure of the gas is logged continuously. The output can be found in the file: DATALOG_20210427_082437.csv The acceleration of the aircraft is measured from the cockpit. The output can be found in the file: 0230.csv High-speed imaging movie files are saved in multiple directories, as output from a photron 95 camera. The original movies and metadata suitable for photron viewer can be found in the zipped directories: day1_p1.zip, day1_p1_01.zip, and day1_p1_02.zip. Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) is performed on imaging data obtained with a high-speed camera and synchronized pulsed light source. The acquisition and data processeing are performed using the DAVIS software from LaVision GMbH, and therefore require the appropriate licence to view and analyze. The raw PIV vector fields are therefore in the proprietary format and can be found in the tarball: archive_vc7.files.tar.gz. Quick-look data can be found here in unprotected format: - A .mp4 movie of the high-speed imaging data is available in the file: combined_p1_movie_annotated.mp4 - .gif files presenting the PIV vector fields, corresponding to seconds 4, 10, and 17 respectively: vector_field_s4.gif, vector_field_s10.gif, vector_field_s17.gif
