These files were analyzed in Isogai & Wei et al. "Diversity and evolution of DNA polymerase θ in eukaryotes and the origin of mitochondrion-localized DNA polymerase PolIA in Euglenozoa.
264DNAP_alignment_trimmed.fasta: A trimmed alignment comprising 202 Polθ, 33 PolIA, four acPolA, and 12 bacterial PolI sequences.
264DNAP_alignment_NOTtrimmed.fasta: This alignment is identical to 264DNAP_alignment_trimmed, but the positions ambiguously aligned and/or those that contain a large number of gaps remain.
264DNAP_ML.treefile: The maximum likelihood (ML) tree with SH-aLRT and UFBoot2 support values inferred from 264DNAP_alignment_trimmed.fasta. Newick formatted.
Kinetoplastea_phylogenomic_31otu325proteins.fas: A phylogenomic alignment comprising 325 proteins. This was used to infer the relationship among 21 kinetoplastids, three diplonemids, and three euglenids. See Table S2 for the details.
Kinetoplastea_phylogenomic_31otu325proteins.treefile: The ML tree inferred from Kinetoplastea_phylogenomic_31otu325proteins.fas. Support values from UFBoot2 and nonparametric bootstrap are included. Newick formatted.
Testtrees_AUtest_Fig3.treefile: The test trees used in the AU test that examined the position of the PolIA clade among Polθ sequences. The corresponding results are shown in Fig. 3. Newick formatted.
