资源简介:

Reduced CRIRES+ spectroscopy observations of 51 Peg b from 06 October 2024 This records contains the reduced data as used in the publication of Cont et al. 2026 "51 Peg b revisited with VLT/CRIRES+. Constraints on atmospheric thermal and chemical properties and a revised orbital solution". Links to the publication: ADS: TBD arXiv: TBD The raw data from the CRIRES+ instrument were reduced using the instrument pipeline and the reduction steps are described in the article (see Section 2). Acknowledgements If you make use of this data in your research, please cite the Cont et al. 2026 article and this record with its DOI (10.5281/zenodo.17565920) and its reference, the bibtex reference is: @dataset{cont_2025_17565920, author = {Cont, David and Lavail, Alexis}, title = {CRIRES+ spectroscopy observations of 51 Peg b}, month = nov, year = 2025, publisher = {Zenodo}, version = 1, doi = {10.5281/zenodo.17565920}, url = {https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17565920},} Note also that ESO requests an acknowledgement, which in this case would be: "Based on observations made with ESO Telescopes at the La Silla Paranal Observatory under programme ID 114.279X". This data is released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.Format of the data The data are contained in two pickle files. One pickle file contains the data obtained without AO (51Peg_noAO.pickle), the other file contains the data obtained with AO (51Peg_AO.pickle; as described in the publication). Instructions on how to read pickle files can be found on the python wiki at https://wiki.python.org/moin/UsingPickle Example: import pickledata = pickle.load(open('51Peg_AO.pickle', 'rb')) The data consists of a dictionary, the keys can be explored with the following command: print(data.keys()) The keys are the following: general info ephemeris wave_A wave_B spec_A spec_B err_A err_B jd_A jd_B exptime_A exptime_B The keys in boldface (wave_A, spec_A, err_A) and (wave_B, spec_B, err_B) contain the reduced data of the A and B nodding position; wavelength is expressed in vacuum in nanometers, the extracted spectrum is in ADU, and the error spectrum is in ADU. The other keys contain the ephemeris used to calculate the orbital phase, the julian date, and exposure time. Each key contains either a numPy array or a string.
