资源简介:
In this study, Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) were exposed to high energy water accommodated fraction (HEWAF) of crude oil in their diet in order to assess the effects of crude oil on behavioral parameters linked with the reproductive success of Siamese fighting fish. Thus, after 3 weeks of acclimation, fish were exposed to HEWAF for 4 weeks. Betta aggression display behaviors – opercular flaring, circling, darting and rapid fin movement were monitored. This dataset supports the publication: Bautista, N. M., Pothini, T., Meng, K., & Burggren, W. W. (2019). Behavioral consequences of dietary exposure to crude oil extracts in the Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens). Aquatic Toxicology, 207, 34–42. doi:10.1016/j.aquatox.2018.11.025
